i forget to snap photos of stella some days.  i realized that it was the end of january and i had yet to take a photo of her.  normally we will do a funny face session or just play with the video.  i got this cute hat from purple mango and i could not resist not having a picture of her. 

stella is a crazy cat and rarely sits still for the camera.  here are some shots of her in her new pink hat.  i love this child.  she is so fun and spunky!  i have to take photos of her next at her gymnastics class - she loves sporting her hot pink outfit!

i am on a roll with my blogging this week!  forgive me for the many photos i will post...i could not pick which ones to show! i made my way to austin last weekend where i got to hang out with jen and mike!  they are really fun and were full of ideas the morning of the shoot!  we started off with a cup of joe and then went all over austin to play!  jen and mike are getting married in playa del carmen, mexico and i can't wait to be there with them!  i know it will be a beautiful wedding! 

here was the list of things that jen and mike wanted to capture:
hanging out in east austin doing what they do!
record shop to listen to some music.  they have a record player that they love!

riding their scooter around town.

it is a great idea to have ideas in your head that make your shots unique!  when clients let me in on their shared hobbies... it helps me capture who you are and get to know you more!! i love that i can spend the day with my clients and have fun doing it!

if i get anything done today it will be this blog post!  i was so excited to hear that my bride scheduled to get married in houston had moved the wedding to nashville, tn.  i had never been and have always wanted to go check it out!  we started off the weekend with a shoot of jessica and bryan hanging out downtown.  here are a few shots from that day.  it was crazy to me how much nashville reminded me of austin, tx.  wedding images to come! first lets start off with this guy and his guitar.

i could not resist blogging this baby photo and had to share!  he was pretty good for this session and let me wrap him up for this shoot. some babies will not let me do this!  

nary and gerald met while attending the university of texas, so it was fitting that we capture them at their old stomping grounds.

although i live in houston, i often travel to different cities for engagement sessions!  it is always fun to get out of town and have a fresh outlook when i shoot.  i see new things and that is always fun.  nary and gerald wanted to shoot in austin and i was excited to go! here are a few from their session.
