i have been meaning to update my albums for 2009....and i am so happy with my newest addition to the album family! i was so excited to have it in my hands that i took it on a trip with me to stare at it. i wanted to try something new....so i chose a white leather and did some white embossing on the cover. in addition to all of the white...i chose to mount the photos on white pages. normally they are black and thicker but this certainly makes for an elegant look! don't ya think! and now this is a great album to add to my collection. check below to view the entire album from this wedding.

Hi Brook! I stumbled upon your site and it's AWESOME! I'm almost positive we graduated high school together...or maybe I graduated with your brother or sister (Lamar 1997)??? Anyway, I'm as apiring photographer and spend half my day stalking others' blogs. I absolutely LOVE your work! If you can't remember my face you can find it somewhere on this blog www.theserranotwins.blogspot.com :).

i have been drooling over this family session for quite some time. finally getting them ready to blog. this little family is so cute and stylish! both mom and dad are talented artists. we started off at their home which was nice because they live on my street! i was excited to hear that they wanted to take some shots at the local coffee house down the street! it is more like a second home where we all get our coffee fixes! it was fun to capture them while anne's mom was in town for spring break! their little family is too cute and their daughter islay is a ham and just like her mommy! we had fun at the park playing and laughing and almost injuring ourselves for some fun shots! here are my favorites!

From my own experience, I know how hard it is to take "family photos" so they won't appear dull to the outsider (of the family)
And here you have a full set, that for me, as a total stranger, I had a great time watching these photos.
Splendid job!

i am pretty good at reading people and right away i could tell that paige was a smart young woman. she is only 18 and knows what she values and wants in life. i admire that... i hardly knew what life was about at her age. paige is beautiful and a great subject for the camera. here are a couple of favorites.

stella is quite the character these days. she dresses herself and likes to make sure she tells me what she prefers. i guess that is a 3 year old for you. these past couple of days it has been rather gloomy and rainy and stella has been locked up indoors. the rain finally subsided and she ran out in her rain boots to stand in a puddle. lucky for me, i had my camera right then to snap a few shots.
